Birth: Sukabumi, 11 years old
Family: Nurhidayat lives with his parents. He has an older sister and has 2 younger brothers, ages 3 and 1.
Education: He has previously gone to school and was in the 3rd grade but dropped out. His parents have some middle school education. His 13 yr old sister has finished elementary school but did not continue to high school because they couldn't afford it.
Living Conditions/Situation: The family lives in substandard rooms at the edge of a rubbish dump.
Economic Situation: His parents work as scavengers at the dump. Nurhidayat helps hs family by also collecting bottles and busking (begging) on the streets.
Additional Comments: Nurhidayat shows signs of malnutrition and is small for his age.
