Hilaria, 39, and Hugo, 45, each already had a teenage child from a previous relationship when they welcomed a baby boy, Henri, in March 2024, bringing their household to five. Hugo works in construction while Hilaria takes care of the family, taking in occasional sewing jobs for extra income. Henri was born with a heart murmur. Fortunately, he was diagnosed early and monitored closely, until on October 25, 2024, surgeons were able to patch the persistent hole in the arterial walls of his heart. When the Puente de Solidaridad social worker followed up with the family on December 5th, Hilaria reported Henri was doing great!
